CHARLIE FLETCHER is the author of the bestselling Stoneheart trilogy, and now his first fantasy novel for adults, THE OVERSIGHT. After studying English Literature at university, Fletcher began his career in the film business and then the BBC, before moving to California to become a screenwriter. He wrote screenplays for Tri-Star, MGM, Paramount and Warner Bros among others. He continues to write for the movies, and also television, and has written magazine features, restaurant reviews, and a computer game. ROSIE BEST lives in London and loves all things nerdy. She is an editor at Working Partners Ltd, working on a huge variety of projects from first chapter books about unicorns to dark YA journeys through the land of the dead. More importantly, she is the author of brilliant urban fantasy SKULK and the forthcoming sequel RABBLE. Rosie was one of the twelve voices chosen for the SCBWI-BI’s Undiscovered Voices Anthology 2012, with the opening of SKULK.
DEN PATRICK’s debut novel, THE BOY WITH THE PORCELAIN BLADE, the first book of the Erebus series, has been called ‘exceptionally realised’ by Forbidden Planet, and ‘Stylish, witty and charmingly dark’ by Speakeasy Alumnus, Tom Pollock. Den is also the author of THE WAR MANUALS. He was born in Dorset in 1975, and shares a birthday with Bram Stoker. ALEX BELL wrote her debut novel, THE NINTH CIRCLE, (along with five others) while she was still at university studying Law. It was published by Gollancz in 2008, and since then she has published three more, with her fifth, FROZEN CHARLOTTE, a YA horror, to be published later this year. Now she happily dwells in an entirely make-believe world of blood, death, madness, murder and mayhem. The doctors have advised that it is best not to disturb her, for she appears to be happy there.
E.J. SWIFT’s first novel was picked up by an agent when she was 18 and since then she has developed her style through a variety of projects including short stories and scriptwriting. After spending eighteen months living and working in Paris, she returned to London to complete an MA in Creative Writing Programme at Royal Holloway. During her time there she wrote OSIRIS, the first novel in The Osiris Project trilogy, which was published by Del Rey in 2013. The sequel, CATAVEIRO, was published in February. Her short fiction has appeared in Interzone magazine, and in several anthologies. When not writing, E.J Swift is an aficionado of the trapeze.
